Elka 14mm Rural Oak is a beautifully rustic engineered wood flooring designed to bring the rugged, timeless character of the British countryside into your home.  Crafted from 100% natural wood, this wide-plank flooring features a generous 3mm solid oak wear layer supported by a real wood core, delivering the unmistakable presence of solid timber combined with exceptional dimensional stability.  The oak undergoes a specialized sawn and smoked treatment to draw out its rich, deep tones and textured grain markings, and is sealed with a protective UV Oiled finish that preserves a natural, matte feel underfoot.

Each impressive 189mm wide plank features a 4-sided bevel that gently frames its borders, emphasizing the expansive length of the floor.  To ensure an authentic, staggered layout, each pack contains up to 30% starter boards.  Because of its substantial wear layer, this durable floor can be sanded and refinished down the line, ensuring it remains a lasting feature of your home.  It is perfectly suited for all residential spaces, with the exception of high-humidity environments like bathrooms.

Engineered with a traditional Tongue & Groove locking system, Rural Oak offers versatile fitting options to suit your subfloor requirements.  It can be successfully installed as a floating floor over a high-quality underlay or fully adhered to the subfloor using Elka Trowel Flex or Elka Rigid adhesive.  This stability makes it completely compatible to be laid over embedded underfloor heating systems, providing a warm, reliable, and deeply characterful foundation for modern living.
